Navalny’s widow urges Russians to protest on election day

Navalny’s widow, Yulia Navalnaya, has called on the Russian people to protest on election day in response to the recent assassination of her husband, opposition leader Alexei Navalny.

Speaking at a press conference in Moscow, Navalnaya said that the Russian government’s refusal to investigate Navalny’s murder and bring his killers to justice shows a blatant disregard for human rights and democracy.

She urged all Russians to come out in protest on election day as a show of solidarity with the opposition movement and to demand justice for Navalny.
